    Connection

Our music classes allow you to connect with your child as well as your own inner child. We all benefit from the healing powers of music. We also value the importance of slowing down and connecting to our breath.

Our classes begin and end with time to connect with our breath and be mindful of setting an intention for the class.

    Focus on Social Emotional Learning

As parents and educators, we know the importance of teaching age appropriate social emotional learning concepts such as managing our big feelings.

Through the use of original songs and puppets, we help children normalize their feelings and find healthy ways to express emotions.

  • Book titled 'Dancing Hands: How Teresa Carreño Played the Piano for President Lincoln' with an illustration of a girl playing the piano surrounded by colorful flowers and butterflies, set on a grassy landscape with trees and a small house in the background.

    Focus on Literacy

Throughout the sessions, we will feature and share children’s books that have impacted us and have a focus on social emotional learning.

Learning about the artists and their backgrounds, often through their challenges, allows us to have a deeper appreciation for their music. It gives us human connection to the artist and their stories.

  • A Halloween-themed poster for a musical costume parade in South City at Francis Park featuring ghosts, bats, spiders, pumpkins, and skeletons with event details.

    Community

We need community and connection more than ever. We want our classes to become a place where you can meet other parents and build friendship.

In addition to our music classes, we build community by hosting FREE events throughout the year such as a musical Halloween costume parade, a family children’s concert series at The Boathouse in Forest Park, Holiday Sing-alongs at Rockwell Beer Garden, and much more in the works!

  • Purple background with colorful Mardi Gras masks, confetti, and streamers, promoting a musical Mardi Gras celebration.

    Themed Classes

We love a reason to celebrate! We have many fun themed classes throughout the year. Check out our media page for photos of some of our themed classes celebrating the Chinese New Year, Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day and more!
